Job description:   The role is concerned with the provision of Oracle HR/Payroll support and project work covering all Oracle support customers.

The team works with other specialised groups providing support for Oracle Applications, Oracle Database, call centre etc to provide an integrated service to the customer.

Responsibilities:-

• To provide Oracle Applications suite HRMS (including PeopleSoft HR) support to our client base and Oracle AM Practice team members.
• Working in a team, the consultant will complete tasks and deliverables required to resolve customer support calls in line with the Service Level Agreements
• Keep the Service Delivery Manager informed of progress and issues in a timely manner.
• Involved in the transfer of appropriate applications skills and knowledge to the other members of the support team.

The role responsibilities include but are not restricted to:

• Trouble shooting and fault resolution of customer calls/incidents
• To advise/guide on module configuration
• To advise/guide on security set-up
• To configure the application where necessary
• To identify the need to implement a customization
• To provide functional / business analysis expertise on (minor/major) project/enhancements
• To act as a business analyst to gather requirements and present findings to clients / project team
• To adhere to the Practice Quality procedures & standards
• To liaise with other team members and other areas of the business where appropriate
• To keep the management team up to date on work activities
• Will be require to participate in Pre-Sales work when required
• The training of end users where appropriate on new functionality or business process

Job requirements

Essential Skills and Competencies:-
• Demonstrate solid skills in Oracle HRMS products
• Must have proven technical\functional skills
• Knowledge and understanding of Oracle reporting solutions
• Ability to speak another language may be advantageous but not necessary
• Although the role is primarily office based the person must be willing to travel within the UK and Europe if/as and when required.
• Must be flexible in working hours in order to cover core support times for our client base and participate in on-call support
 
Salary:   £45000 Per Year
