The Systems Support Leader for HR Function will report into the Manager for Systems and provide Oracle HR Functionality support together with IT implementation and systems integration to ensure first class performance to customers in UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide IT support for the Roll-out of Oracle HRMS (OneSource) in Europe
• IT Lead for the Global & Regional Improvement program for Oracle HRMS in Europe
• Provide IT support for non-Oracle software applications used with the HR Services Team in Europe.
• Lead all IT work relating to the HR Services business function, including requirements analysis, project management, testing and planning.
• Create, monitor and maintain a Systems Plan to support each project
• Communicate and coordinate plans within the Systems team to establish and monitor resource availability and timelines.
• Work with Super Users to plan, specify and design bespoke work.
• Assist users in the development and execution of test plans and scripts. In particular ensuring compliance to Sarbanes Oxley controls
• Manage the developers working on Employee Services projects. This is outsourced resource working on-site and offshore in India.
• Acquire an in-depth knowledge of the business flows and related business objectives for the Employee Services Team.
• Work with the Employee Services team to understand processes and information flows support by the Oracle HRMS solution in Europe
• React quickly and effectively to assess and resolve user problems and issues, specifying software changes and testing problem fixes.
• Work within the Systems team to define and implement quality, standard methods and processes.
• Liaise with the Corporate Systems in the US to ensure common standards and methods globally. Also ensuring that Europe Requirements are represented in any Global developments.
• Maintain and up to date knowledge of existing and new technologies in this business area.
• Use the Six Sigma tools and methodology to improve the quality of Systems and services
• Maintain and awareness and understanding of Corporate Strategies and Goals and understand their impact and effect on Systems work and practices.
• Ensure Compliance to the IT Strategy (process, security and architecture)
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley General IT Cycle controls for all Systems work.
• Support Sarbanes Oxley compliance work in area's.
• Work to support and implement the Vision and Mission.
• Some European Travel.
Essential Skills:
• Candidates should be qualified to degree level with line HR experience.
• Detailed Knowledge of the Oracle HRMS Application (release 11.5.8 upwards)
• Detailed Knowledge of HR Business processes
• Basic knowledge of Payroll Business Processes
• Oracle HRMS Systems Implementation Experience (UK and Europe) - 3 years
• Systems Integration Experience - 3 years
• Relational database experience (preferably Oracle)
• SQL/PLSQL
• Windows NT
• Lotus Notes
