BearingPoint is currently searching for experienced Project Accounting Consultants. Job Description : Support the development and manage financial activities that integrate the Oracle Project Accounting module with the General Ledger and other Oracle modules. In addition to supporting the developments¸ provide functional solutions in support of troubleshooting Oracle Applications employed by a user community of several thousand. The candidate with work with fellow Oracle specialist resources and end-users in solving problems found in their environment of Oracle Federal Financials, focusing on General Ledger, Budget Execution, Payables, Receivables, Purchasing, Project Accounting, and System Administration. They will have to quickly learn the functional aspects of customizations built to meet client requirements not fulfilled in the standard Oracle Federal Financials product.
Require: * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Minimum 2-3 years experience with Oracle Financial apps (particularly with any or a combination of the following modules: PO, AP, GL, PA) * Minimum 1-2 years experience working in the Federal Marketplace. * Minimum 2-3 years prior experience with Oracle Federal Financial Applications. *Knowledge of Federal Accounting *Practices/Principle * Minimum 1-2 years experience in SQL (to support reconciliation and trouble shooting) Specifically, the Functional Analyst would support or be responsible for: *Requirements gathering and analysis *Functional Design development and documentation *Custom configuration and coordination of standard module setups to support the solution *Unit Testing (to include reconciliation with General Ledger and Project Accounting and Report Validation) *Drafting End-user Test Scripts *Supporting development of Training Materials Required Skills/Project
Experience: - Minimum 2-3 years experience in Oracle 9i, SQL*Plus, Oracle Internet Development Suite toolkit. - Minimum 1-2 years experience in Oracle 6i version or later. - Minimum 1-2 years experience in Oracle Workflow Builder. - Minimum 1-2 years experience in Oracle Application data architecture and relationships. - Minimum 1-2 years experience in Oracle Federal Financials - Full Life Cycle Implementation -Working knowledge of Federal Accounting -Working knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Projects (functional) -Experience in other federal financial modules ? a plus. -Strong Analytical Skills -Strong Client Skills -Good Communication Skills The job require US Citizenship.
