| Job description: |
We have been retained by a Fortune 200 client to hire for their various challenging opportunities. We have an immediate opening for an ERP Project Manager. This person can be located in either Pittsburgh, PA or Raleigh, NC. The primary function of this position includes but is not limited to:
• The first project assignment will be in Helsinki, Finland requiring a majority of time to be spent at the business location.
• Proven track record of managing multi-location, multi-module ERP implementation projects for Oracle v11i ERP (or other Tier 1 equivalent) is required. Experience with other Oracle software (Services/CRM) implementation a plus.
• Proven record for managing numerous sub-projects ranging from straight-forward to extremely complex to ensure adequate and balanced prioritization of tasks and project is delivered in total.
• Experience in managing large project budget (at least $500,000) with full accountability to project stakeholders.
• Functional/working familiarity with industry best practice tools including the Supply Chain Council & SCOR model, the Lean Enterprise Institute, Six-Sigma, business process modeling and others.
• Previous direct operational experience in any of the following areas is a plus: Product lifecycle management, Supply & demand planning, Material planning, sourcing management, Quotation & customer order management, Production scheduling, execution, confirmation, In-process quality, rework, scrap, Shipping/logistics, Field service, repair, warranty, & contracts, Cost settlement
• Ability to interact (influence, motivate and negotiate) effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including sales/manufacturing/logistics management and personnel, business unit management, senior/executive management, and key resources outside of the Electrical Group, such as strategic vendors and consultants, and other contacts (Corporate Headquarters, etc.).
Job Qualifications:
• Tier 1 ERP Systems Experience, Oracle 11i preferred.
• Strong project management for ERP implementations required
• Bachelors Degree required.
• Must be open to extensive travel for global implementations enterprise wide.
