JOB DESCRIPTION:
Support, enhance, develop, and evolve the Oracle ERP system to drive the maximum value to the Stryker Orthopaedics business. Play a supporting role in promoting and communicating the Oracle functionality and benefits across the organization. Support the EBS team in ensuring the preservation of the Oracle ERP System Integrity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Explore Oracle system capabilities; improve utilization of existing functionality to add value to the business.
Work with Business Super Users to continually increase Super User knowledge and Oracle skills.
Ensure that ongoing user support model is sustained.
Set up and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with customers.
Participate in Oracle System problem/issue resolution; includes working with business Super Users to investigate system incidents/issues; actively managing and allocating resources to respond to highest priority business issues; and monitoring & reporting performance against end-user SLAs.
Manage Technical Assistance Requests (TARs) by logging and coordinating/managing resolution.
Manage system changes (extensions & customizations) by adding modules or adding bolt-on applications; determine ROI and associated risks.
Coordinate the collection of requirements; create Charter and project plan; align resources, create/track change controls; track approvals; communicate processes; develop reports; test and validate; and implement.
Ensure consideration is given to interface requirements and infrastructure requirements.
Develop, maintain and deliver courseware to Oracle Users; manage user testing and certification; maintain related process documentation.
Manage report requests from submission to resolution; develop functional requirements for new reports; submit requests for report access within and across responsibility areas; and test reports prior to deployment.
Assist with evaluation and processing of Oracle patches.
Monitor system for potential issues and ensure the highest levels of data integrity are maintained.
Recommend system up-time requirements; determine how the coverage model stays in line with system up-time requirements.
Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley and 21 CFR Part 11 regulatory requirements are met.
Ensure all Legal (contracts and Intellectual Property) obligations are met.
QUALIFICATIONS:
10+ years experience as a project manager or business analyst; prefer experience in technical field.
Demonstrated expert understanding of Stryker Orthopaedics business processes.
Demonstrated knowledge of business management and systems technology.
Demonstrated project management skills, including capacity planning, budgeting, and conflict management; the ability to impart these skills to others.
Applied understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems concepts around a single system instance shared by multiple operating companies where standards are set at a “system foundation” level, within an international, multi-country setting.
Demonstrated familiarity with Oracle eBusiness Applications Suite.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills; ability to write and speak persuasively, tactfully and diplomatically.
Demonstrated ability to work independently.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in a technical discipline (computer science, engineering, operations); Master's Degree in related field preferred
