VAM SYSTEMS is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company with operations in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Australia, USA, Singapore & India.
VAM SYSTEMS currently looking for Project Manager for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Job Description:
a) Manage the implementation of the Banks’ core banking system and applications and all other IT projects during the set-up phase.
b) Manage enterprise-wide IT projects.
c) Develop the technology roadmap for the Bank according to the IT strategy.
d) Plan and manage the implementation of IT projects to achieve objectives, time line, budgets and project management / quality standards.
e) Ensure proper governance / oversight & reporting of all IT projects.
f) Translate business needs into functional requirements and support the fulfillment of requirements across divisions/businesses.
Competencies:
a) Proven ability to oversee and lead people and projects.
b) Proven project planning skills.
c) Excellent communication skills (oral and written; English is a must).
d) Diversified IT technical background.
e) Ability to deliver cross-functional, enterprise-wide projects within allocated resources and deadlines.
Experience Required:
a) 10+ years of IT experience in a banking environment.
b) 5+ years in managing IT projects with a large & reputable IT vendor / financial institution.
c) Proven track record in implementing banking system architectures.
Qualification:
a) Minimum university degree or equivalent qualification in IT.
b) Masters degree in Information Technology or Information Systems Management preferred.
c) PMP or PRINCE2 certifications.

Joining time frame : 2 weeks (maximum 4 weeks)
