Position : Consulting Technical Manager / Architect
Scope:
The Technical Architect (TA) works closely with NAIO's Technology Consulting practice management and the North America Technology Demand Organization to define and architect the Oracle solution being proposed so that it aligns with customer technology strategies and meets business requirements.
The Tech Architect plays a dual role in supporting these pre-sales activities with offshore delivery management capabilities with personal billable delivery utilization target of above 60%. Personal client billable time results from managing offshore delivery projetcts, providing project implementation support around subject matter expertise, lead architect role and management of delivery staff.
Responsibilities
· Designing, developing and documenting Oracle product set solution architecture that meets client needs. These include 9iAS/10G Portal,9iAS/10G ntegration, 9iAS/10G Identity Management, 9iAS/10G Java/J2EE, 9iAS/10G Business Intelligence.
· Anticipates client’s needs and successfully presents Technology solutions.
· Contributing to project planning and project management and delivering
offshore technology projects.
· Working with the North America Technology Sales account team to discover and exploit opportunities for cross and up selling.
· Working alongside Partner and other third party organizations as required.
· Sharing knowledge and best practice within the practice and across lines of business.
· Acting as an expert in the specialist practice area.
· Contributing as required to the generation of bids/proposals ensuring they reflect the capability of the practice(s).
Technical Competencies
· Indepth knowledge of the Oracle technology stack – database and
application server.
· Indepth knowledge of one of the following: Oracle 9iAS/10G Portal or
Oracle 9iAS/10G OC4J/J2EE or Oracle 9iAS/10G Integration or Oracle 9iAS/10G Business Intelligence.
· Broad knowledge and experience at a reasonably high level of all Oracle eBusiness suite and technology areas.
· 10+ years experience in major IT projects involving whole business
process.
