My client provides a range of IT services focussed around core areas of Relational Database Management, E-Business Applications & Secure Remote Access. These services include database support & managed services, project delivery, remote systems management & training/skills transfer. They specialise in the provision of services and products based around technology from best of breed vendors.
They are currently looking for an experienced Consultant to be part of their Team.
REQUIREMENTS:
Very good, Oracle 9i and 10g Dba experience, with back up, tuning, etc., etc.
Oracle Application Server (AS10g), installation and administration experience.
Portal, BI and RAC, (if possible or a combo if not)
Some solid scripting or preferably good development experience.
Excellent client facing skills and used to working closely with a sales team, providing technical pre sales input.
Must have done a similar role before.
Based within commuting distance of office, (45 minutes max)
Office based when not on site, helping with support issues.
Oracle Certified Professional, desirable.
Happy to work away and do loads of travelling.
Unix / Linux / Windows platform experience. At least 2 of 3.
24 x 7 support when required for 1 week a month, not part of job immediately.
