ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include:
Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains company database[s].
Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents the process.
Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of relational data model, SQL, database optimization tools and techniques.
Working knowledge of Oracle 8i or bette ; 9i preferred.
Experince installing Oracle, add/remove/backup/restore, basic Oracle/OS troubleshooting, Oracle & performance tuning.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, Windows 2000.
Experience with data mining tools such as TOAD
Database import & export experience
Familiar with Unix, Solaris and MSWindows /NT Environments.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in a related area and 4-5 years of experience in Oracle Database administration.
