| Job description: |
Analyzes and identifies all or part of a company's existing or new computer (and/or server), peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs. Designs, implements, codes, tests, documents, and maintains systems integration solutions to total system or subsystems. Establishes functional and technical specifications, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.
Typical Minimum Experience and Education: 6 Years, with a B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics
Preferred Skills:
• Must have installation, configuration and administration experience with the Infrastructure and middle tier of Oracle Applications Server 10g on a Unix/Linux platform
• Specific Oracle Fusion Middleware products of interest: SOA Suite (ESB, BPEL, BAM, OWSM), Business Intelligence, Identity Management, and general Oracle Applications
• 3 - 5 years experience with Oracle/Discoverer Application Server
• Experience in SQL, PL/SQL, XML, JAVA, and Web Services is a must; Oracle RDBMS preferred
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Willingness to learn and stay current with new technology as it emerges
• Excellent communication skills
• Oracle Application Server 10g Administrator: Certified Associate or Professional is a plus
