Hi,
Title: Oracle DBA
Skills: Oracle DBA with Windows
Location: Chandler, AZ
Length: 12 months
Seeking a Senior Oracle DBA in the scale of 7 /10 or above and ready to face challenges.
Position requires:
5+ years of experience with Oracle database development
2+ years experience in Oracle database support
2+ years of experience working Windows NT/2000/2003, and possibly experience with Unix & VMS
Strong experience in backup/recovery scenarios (e.g. RMAN backup/restore), troubleshooting Oracle core issues, space management, production support (24x7) and qualifying new versions/patches
Experience in handling large databases running under 24/7 production environment and understand basics of database corruption
Demonstrable skills in development support and architectural guidance for new and existing databases and related tools
Proficiency in performance tuning tools and techniques on large databases in production
Hands on and troubleshooting experience with standby database, Oracle replication
Experience in programming in Perl or another scripting language (at least 6 months)
Knowledge or familiarity with connectivity products like OLEDB, ODBC, ADO, RDO, etc.
Understanding of MetaLink and dealing with TARs and coordinating with Oracle analysts for faster solutions and troubleshooting
Experience in training/knowledge transfer and open to present ideas in user group meetings
Willingness to learn new technologies
Strong team player
Experience in Oracle Failsafe a plus
