Proficiency in handling RDBMS on both Windows as well as Unix (Solaris & AIX) platforms a must.
Should have extensive knowledge on clustering deployment (RAC as wells as SQL) / Managing Standbys/ Troubleshooting / performance monitoring/ fine tuning /optimizing / Capacity & Resource planning / DR etc.
Should be an expert in RDBMS backups & recovery.
Should have overseen/performed upgrades of enterprise RDBMS.
Should be a team player with aptitude to pursue individual goals.
ITIL knowledge or certification desired
At least 7 years of experience as a DBA in a multi platform environment with extensive knowledge on SQL, Oracle & Sybase.
