Description: We are looking for Oracle DBA who is involved in working on UNIX Platforms to work with a Fortune 100 client, towards developing or supporting large global engagement at Hyderabad / Bangalore / Chennai / Pune.
Role: Sr. Oracle DBA.
Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore/Chennai
Desired profile:
*5 plus years experience as an Oracle DBA on UNIX platforms.
*Good Experience working with Oracle 8i, 9i, 10g
*Performed upgrades to 10g from 9i.
*Been involved with installations of 10g.
*Experience with the advanced properties of 10g, including RAC, ASM and Data Guard.
*Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), including grid control and monitoring.
*Migrated Oracle from Solaris to AIX would be a big plus.
*Design and architecture of complex, distributed, highly transactional database systems, including specification of hardware / storage infrastructure requirements.
*Product support for application and database deployment of upgrades and patch releases.
*Experience supporting distributed databases in a multi-server/multi-location environment.
*Experience supporting multiple development teams simultaneously
*Strong performance and tuning skills.
*Experience designing and implementing High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions using Oracle technologies.

*Strong commitment to quality and service.
*Outstanding time management skills.
