IT Manager/Head of IT - Manchester area. Our client from the gaming and leisure industry is seeking to appoint an IT Manager to ensure that the business makes effective and efficient use of its technology and IT resources. Educated to degree level, ideally in a related discipline, you will possess at least 5 years experience working within a professional IT environment. A strong communicator with both junior and senior staff you will be technically aware in the following areas; Network Administration, Oracle ERP Applications 11i (pre-requisite), CAD, Windows 2000/2003 and Exchange, Graphics Applications and Backup/Disaster Recovery. Within the role you will be expected to develop and implement an effective IT strategy, manage and develop the existing IT infrastructure, manage and co-ordinate the systems development requirements and oversee the IT support desk across 3 locations.
