Job Responsibilities:
The QA Manager, reporting to the Project Director, is responsible of the certification, main tasks are:
Certify New releases
Coordinate the Writing of Test scripts
Coordinate the Unitary testing
Coordinate the Integration testing
Centralise the Defects logs
Interface with the development team
Interface with SGX testing team
Skills & Experience:
The candidate must have proven training track record in managing testing of financial applications, with 5+ Years of experience.
In addition to this the chosen candidate will have the following skills:
Organisation / Planning: plan actions, assign tasks and maximise available resources.
Resource management
Communication: initiate and receive messages. Make contact and establish personal relations with others. Conduct meetings.
Withstand pressure: control one's reactions in stressful situations such as very high workload or deadline pressure. Ability to stay in control of one's team.
Focusing on the customer: anticipate the impact of one's actions on customer relations. Tactical approach to the customer.
Reporting: audit the activity of one's team and to report to one's superior whenever required.
Knowledge of stock-market mechanisms (placing orders and life cycle)
Forming an overall view
Following tests
Sound knowledge of testing techniques, rigour
Team worker, quick-learner, problem solving approach
Ability to learn and adapt to new environment quickly.
