Position Opportunity - Oracle Developer
This is a full-time position with one of the fastest growing technology companies in the United States as well as one of the top ten fastest growing companies in the ‘Texas Crescent'.
Leads in the analysis of organizational needs and goals and the design and implementation of Oracle e-business applications.
Consults with users to determine requirements for corporate Oracle e-Business related applications.
Job Responsibilities
· Designing, implementing, documenting, and testing Oracle e-Business applications
· Ownership and responsibility for maintaining the integrity, consistency, and accuracy of applications
· Create technical specifications from user requirements
o Data models and/or maps, cross-references, etc.
o Data flows
o Developing Testing scenarios
o gathering and clarifying requirements and business needs directly from end users
· Develop programs (interfaces and customizations)
o Design and develop technical solutions within available Oracle Application tools - Interfaces, Conversions, Reports, Workflows and Enhancements
o Unit testing
o Documentation
o Interaction with Oracle Applications System Administrator to deploy to specific environments
· Convert data
o Map data
o Cleanse data (if required)
o Coding (if required)
o Unit testing
o Documentation
o Final data conversion
Position Requirements
· Requires 5 - 7 years IS experience and 3-5 years development experience, Oracle 11i 5.10.x e-Business applications development mandatory, Financials and/or Projects preferred.
· Key Skills: PL/SQL, Unix Scripting, Oracle ERP suite, Oracle Discoverer, Workflow 10g, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
· Development experience with enterprise-level relational databases - PL/SQL mandatory (SQL, stored procedures, triggers)
· Oracle Developer suite is a plus |
