The Senior Applications Specialist reports to the Oracle Implementation Project Manager in Corporate Applications IT, and is responsible for Oracle E-Business Suite Procure-to-Pay (PO, AP, iProcurement, Inventory, iExpenses, other P2P apps) applications configuration and development, maintenance and support.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
As an implementation project member, will work with external implementation consultants, accounting subject matter experts (SME’s) and procurement SME’s, and will be responsible for scoping, design, development, documentation and training of Oracle applications relating to Procure-to-Pay business processes. After the project go-live, the focus will shift to production support and future development of Oracle ERP applications.
KNOWLEDGE:
Technical and functional knowledge of and recent hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite 11i and Procure-to-Pay applications (listed in the position overview).
QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS):
• Education and Certifications: Bachelors Degree in IT or Business-related field
• Experience: Oracle E-Business Suite 11i with an emphasis on Procure-to-Pay applications development and support
• Skills:
o Oracle Products: Oracle E-Business Suite (Financials, AP, PO, Inventory), other Oracle Procure-to-Pay related applications, Oracle Discoverer
o General: Technical, functional and analytical abilities sufficient for the configuration and development of Oracle ERP products and systems. Familiarity with Oracle Purchasing standard workflows. Ability to interact effortlessly with business/user community to determine functional or technical requirements, to perform custom development, or to solve specific application problems or issues.
