Davis IT and Engineering is a full service staffing company that specializes in staffing IT and Engineering Professionals throughout The United States. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or comparable experience and related continuing education.
6+ years of business experience with heavy involvement in information systems design, configuration, administration and implementation; 3+ years experience working with financial systems (GL, AP, Fixed Assets, etc.).
Experience with Oracle PL*SQL, HTML and JavaScript. Solid knowledge of Oracle design and development environment including use of Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle Discoverer.
Successful track record in project communication, report design and development, and end user coordination and training.
Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, with the ability to consult and advise clients on financial-related data systems while working in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts and information with technical, business, and analytical personnel.
Ability to specify, visualize, and document models of software systems, including their structure and design.
Ability to work with small software packages and experience with integration of such packages into the larger Oracle ERP system environment.
Position Purpose: Participates in or leads project work groups in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of information systems. Skills & Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of software development, data design, systems analysis techniques, and detailed knowledge of business functions.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with data extract, report writer and spreadsheet software tools.

Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse population. Minimum Experience: At least six years of experience in the design, development, and implementation of complex systems. Software development experience with at least one institutional management information system.

Application development experience in a multi-tier and cross-platform systems environment. Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
