Oracle Portal Developer is defined as a position within the Information Systems ERP Engineering organization, responsible for the analysis, design, integration, testing, deployment and support of Portal-based enterprise solutions in the Oracle ERP infrastructure.
Responsibilities will include providing technical leadership and hands-on capabilities in Oracle Portal technology. The ideal individual will have (Java/J2EE experience and experience with web development framework, including Struts and JSF). The candidate should have strong analytical skills, be able to work independently or with a team and have a track record of successful application deployment.
Relevant Experience:
· 3+ years of portal experience or 2+ years of Oracle Portal experience
· 2+ years experience with Java/JSP and HTML development experience
· Struts, JSF or other J2EE UI framework
· SQL, PL/SQL is a must
· Unix and Windows OS
· Content Management: PL/SQL, WebDAV; LDAP or OID or Active Directory; Unix/Linux scripting; exposure to a structured development methodology; exposure to an ERP (Oracle, SAP, etc.)
· Other middleware technology, experience, including: Web Services, Service Oriented Architecture
· Business Intelligence experience, including: report development, dashboard creation/executive dashboards
· 2+ years integration experience with Oracle iReceivables or iSupplier
· Expert in exposing Discoverer reports to Oracle portlets
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to translate end user requirements into reports.
· Strong knowledge and hands-on experience (3+ years) with web design and development including content management/portal development/dynamic web pages and the associated tools and technologies such as: JAVA, Java Server Pages, Java Server Faces, XML, XSL and SQL.
· Demonstrated experience writing detailed Technical Specs from Business Requirements documents.
· Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively with both Developers Business Analysts and Business Units while leading development projects.
· Other needed skills include: experience conducting design meetings, code reviews and mentoring developers.
· Must have excellent organizational and project management skills and be flexible to changing priorities.
Position Responsibilities:
¨ Resource will be working on the technical development for applications built to Oracle EBS framework
¨ Integration and support of Internal and External Portals including iReceivables and iSupplier
¨ Integrate applications built to Oracle framework into Oracle apps
¨ Provide reliable/re-usable services for order management, financials, distribution, and CRM modules
Requirements:
¨ Deep knowledge of Middleware technologies such as Apache, J2EE, Messaging, LDAP, B2B, Portal, ESB, Collaboration, and Integration servers
¨ Knowledge of Oracle Application Server 9i & 10g
¨ Knowledge of Linux and/or Unix operating systems is required
¨ Knowledge of Oracle DB 10g and RAC
¨ Experience automating system administration tasks through shell scripting (Perl, KSH)
¨ Proven ability to assimilate and apply technologies through independent research
¨ Client and team relationship/interaction skills a must
¨ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
¨ High level of initiative and ownership of projects
¨ Proven ability to estimate work efforts for complex technology implementations, deliver results, and meet deadlines by using good time management skills
¨ Experience in managing a highly available production environment, including minimizing risks of routine and scheduled environment changes
¨ Java/J2EE application development experience associated with Oracle SOA, ADF and BPEL
¨ Experience developing and implementing within Oracle SOA, ADF and BPEL
¨ Experience with Oracle BPEL (Business Process Execution Language) Process Manager
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor level degree in a CS discipline or 5+ years of relevant experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Oracle ERP
- Breadth of experience in implementing and configuring Oracle ERP Applications systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Change Agent mindset
- Ability to travel to domestic and international Arrow locations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Oracle Certification
- Masters level degree
- Global Oracle implementation experience
