A multinational software development company is looking for a Datawarehouse Oracle Developer/Analyst Programmer responsible for the design and development of both the data warehouse and the development of reports and business intelligence queries. You will help to enable users to view and navigate through pre-defined reports and graphs and provide a business view to hide the complexity of the underlying data structure.
The ideal candidate will come from an enterprise software or systems integrator background, with a proven track record of delivery.
You will be working in the following technical environment:
Oracle
DataWarehouse
Discoverer
Portal
Developer
App's
10g
Warehouse Builder.
Essential skills include:
PL/SQL
Oracle Discoverer
Data Warehouse Development
Oracle Warehouse Builder or another ETL tool
Beneficial experience includes exposure to front-end reporting tools (Business Objects, Cognos, Brio) and OLAP. A strong working knowledge of Java, XML, Web Services and Microsoft technologies will also be extremely desirable.
You will be responsible for the development of the data warehouse and consequent reporting using the above Oracle technologies, therefore experience of executing system testing, supporting system testing and supporting user acceptance testing would be of further benefit.
