My client is looking for a highly skilled developer to support Oracle/ESRI powered Geodatabase.
To be considered for this role, candidates should be self motivated ESRI/Oracle professionals with experience of supporting and developing large geospatial database applications. With a combination of more than 2 years experience of working with geodatabase technology, and use of ESRI tools (Arc Catalog, Arc SDE ). Experience of .net and C# would be of benefit
The ideal candidates should have the following experience, skills and knowledge:
· Proven track record in support and development of Geodatabase applications.
· Experience in the delivery of successful Oracle applications.
· High level of knowledge of ARC SDE & ARC Catalog.
· Windows and UNIX administrative skills.
· Versioning within geodatabases
Also required are:
· An understanding of complex data management systems.
· The confidence and ability to resolve complex and critical coding problems.
· Experience and enthusiasm in providing key support activities for applications, including performance optimisation and configuration changes.
· A full understanding of the project development lifecycle, including formal methodologies for software development.
· Experience of coaching and/or mentoring less experienced team members.
· Experience of collaborating with stakeholders throughout the Business
· Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team as required, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work and assignments.
