ACCO Brands Corporation, one of the world's largest suppliers of branded office products with annual revenues of nearly $2 billion, is seeking a Sr. Functional Analyst to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will possess a well rounded skill set to effectively work with peers in the IT organization, ACCO Business clients, and external vendors and customers. This role will look at the big picture across ACCO systems as well as be the expert in Oracle Financials. The Sr. Functional Analyst will be the expert in ACCO's financial business processes and Oracle Financials Applications.
Responsibilities include:
Oracle Financials Process Improvement and Support.
Can apply expert knowledge in the following Oracle Applications Modules (GL, AR, AP, FA, PA and Costing) to achieve business benefit.
Participate in planning, testing, and implementation of system enhancements and conversions.
Working independently can resolve support issues related to Financials.
Understands the core business processes related to Finance.
Identifies and prioritizes opportunities to improve business processes.
Apply strong knowledge of Oracle and Financial processes to audit and evaluate systems, operational procedures, and methods.
Identify processes and procedures that optimize the utilization of all system with an emphasis on automation and efficiency.
Applies past experiences to identify alternative solutions for current issues.
Anticipates problems and takes appropriate action to prevent issues from occurring, gets to the root cause of the problem, suggests creative solutions to problems, breaks a complex issue into manageable parts to organize in a systematic way.
Position Qualifications:
REQUIRED:
College Bachelor's in Information Technology or related business focus.area.
Experience implementing and supporting Oracle Financials.
Strong leadership skills.
Must be able to influence the business to change processes for optimal performance.
Strong Analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to setup and configure Oracle Financials to meet business requirements without customization required.
Basic SQL/PLSQL skills for troubleshooting required.
Ability to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines.
Meeting facilitation skills.
Must be able to work outside of normal business hours, especially during month end.
Additional skills preferred, but not required:
Expert Knowledge of Oracle Modules (AP, AR, FA, PA, GL, Cash Management, and Costing).
Oracle Reports
Ability to troubleshoot Account Generator Workflows
Experience using Cognos Reporting tools
Expert using ADI and FSG
