Novotus is searching for an Oracle Invnetory SME for an exhilarating, full service natural gas compression equipment provider in Houston, TX!
Our client is a global market leader in service, fabrication and equipment for oil and natural gas processing and transportation applications. Both selling and renting equipment from its fleet of nearly 6,500 compressors; this client provides, through its subsidiaries, complete operation and maintenance services. This person will work with a team of subject matter experts supporting the Oracle Manufacturing and Engineering processes within the organization.
In addition to providing technical expertise and problem solving abilities to support the Oracle Inventory module in order to resolve issues within the manufacturing and engineering disciplines; this person will also be expected to:
* Utilize standard Oracle Workflows and complete process work flows specific to the item and inventory functions that support manufacturing and engineering business
* Coordinate and communicate the standard workflows and processes throughout the manufacturing and engineering business to help maximize efficiencies gained through Oracle
* Conduct regular audits of manufacturing and engineering processes within Oracle
* Assist with Oracle e-business upgrades and organizational changes
Requirements:
* HS Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
* Knowledge of manufacturing environment
* Basic Oracle Inventory functionality
* Ability to prepare: reports, schedules, presentations, and procedure / process documents (as well as ability to catalog and warehouse documents)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
* A valid passport
Desired:
* Minimum 1 year working experience in Oracle Applications
* Implementation experience of a manufacturing organization to Oracle Applications
* Knowledge of basic accounting principles
* 2 years experience in the oil and gas compression business
* Experience writing process flow test scripts and providing instruction on their testing
* Experience writing and training navigation documents
* Knowledge of Integrated Oracle workflows
