Job description:   A client of ours is in the process of a Global ERP implementation with the Oracle eBusiness Suite; specifically Oracle Applications 11i.5.10 The ideal candidate will thrive in a diverse team environment with a strong sense of goal-oriented time management and processes.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Fundamental Responsibilities
1. Ensures the successful and timely implementation of functionality missing from Oracle's eBusiness Suite to address client's business needs.

2. Must develop the techniques, tools and objects necessary to ensure the implementation project's success, ensure re-usability of deliverables across multiple implementations on a global scale for this client. Assists the Software Engineering Lead and other Project Technical Team Managers in the development and implementation of programming standards and processes for Oracle systems development.

3. Ensure extension designs and implementations meet industry standards
and support Client's goal of a global application.

4. Collaborates with the functional teams to ensure extensions meet requirements. Assisting in the development and managing the testing of extensions while insuring that solutions do not create maintainability issues and are consistent across all products and processes.

5. Performs coding reviews of all custom code developed offshore and on-site for interfaces, conversions, extensions, etc. to ensure re-usability, efficiency, and compliance with the Client's defined standards.

6. Assist the Project Environment Lead in the implementation and setup of technology tools for the Project. Such tools to include: object management, version control, patch management, testing tools, etc.

7. Assist the IT department in developing staff training and education initiatives for the project.

8. Some travel will be required.

Education and Other Credentials:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience; master's degree preferred.

Experience:
- 7+ years managing, programming, and developing with Oracle systems
solutions.
- 3+ years with Oracle eBusiness Suite, specifically with 11i 5.10.
- Experience with, but not limited to, the following modules: FA, DL, AR, AP, OLM (used to be OKL).
- 3+ years managing large systems development projects.
- 3+ years experience in either Oracle framework or Oracle applications
development.
- 2+ years managing outsourced application developments projects.
- Experience with the development of global systems required.
- Financial Services industry, a plus.
- Prior Oracle implementation experience is a huge plus.

Technical/Functional Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Oracle programming technologies.
- Extensive knowledge of configuration and technical requirements in
multiple Oracle eBusiness Suite applications (Financials, Invoicing,
CRM, etc.).
- Knowledge of Oracle Workflow.
- Experienced with several software development methodologies and tools
to support those methodologies.
- Experience with web service systems architecture, automated testing
tools (such as Mercury's TestDirector), integration technologies and
middleware.
- Experience with forms reports 6i
- PL/SQL scripting
- SQL Tuning

Competencies:
- Experience managing and working well within a team of multi-disciplined professionals
- Well rounded understanding of the business, processes and products by the client.
- Strong communicator - clean understanding of off-shore code.
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Collaborative mentality
- Must be able to work effectively with teams located in remote
environments
- Well-respected and credible member- strong relationships with
stakeholder population
 
Salary:   Negotiable Per Day
