We are looking for a oracle applications developer on behalf of our client, Fidelity. This position is based in Durham, NC.
Summary
The Fidelity Employer Services Company, Health & Insurance Financial Systems group provides software development and support for participant billing and financial transaction processing on the Oracle Receivables System and custom Fidelity applications. The Senior Software Engineer/Developer plays an active role in application design, development, and support throughout the full software lifecycle.
This position requires strong technical skills and the ability to work as part of a team that takes a collaborative approach to development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with business partners to translate their needs into technical design documentation
Enhance existing applications or develop new applications to meet our business objectives
Support internal clients who are the end users of our applications
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years experience in Software Development
4+ years of PL/SQL experience with Oracle versions 8.x and above.
1+ years of Forms development
1+ years of Oracle Financials experience with a strong preference for Oracle Accounts Receivable
Unix knowledge
ClearCase exposure
Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills required
Strong Attention to Detail
Familiar with a systems methodology
Ability to work with a high degree of independence, and to work on several activities at the same time
Proven ability to identify and proactively address problems/potential risks and implement timely solutions
Nice to have/plus:
