Description:
AC Nielsen Role: The purpose of this position is to:
- Define business and technical requirements
- Oversee and approve technical design and systems development and testing to ensure requirements are met.
- Create and/or audit high level functional design
- Provide support to Project Managers to ensure projects meet required timelines and deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years experience in business/systems analysis, and/or application design & development.
- Minimum 3 years prior experience in full systems development lifecycle on multiple concurrent projects.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering solutions that meet business needs.
- Ability to effectively lead and influence multiple levels of an organization across functional boundaries.
- Very solid working knowledge of relevant technology concepts (e.g. relational databases, mainframe, client-server and web-based architectures).
- Strong analytic and problem solving skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills including problem solving, prioritizing and interpersonal relationship building.
- Proven track record in working directly with clients to define technology solutions that enable their business objectives.
- Proven track record in making significant contributions to team efforts.
- Proven organization and Time Management Skills (ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines)
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and direct the work of others.
- Proven ability to facilitate group discussion and build consensus.
- Proficient at complex business process modeling.
- Demonstrated proficiency in data modeling concepts.
- Proficient at use case development and analysis.
Skills Desired:
- Extensive knowledge of ACNielsen functions, products, services and business processes.
- Basic knowledge of Enterprise wide initiatives and supporting processes and technologies.
- Previous project management experience.
- Prior experience with large-scale project development.
- Prior experience/exposure to the CPG industry.
- Prior experience with diverse technology environments.
- Prior experience in large volume data processing environments.
