My client is an international information technology services company, whose business is turning client vision into results through the application of consulting, systems integration and managed operations. The Company is the Worldwide Information Technology Partner for the Olympic Games through to the London Olympic Games in 2012, with annual revenues of €5.5 billion and over 47,000 people in 40 countries. In the UK my client has more than 6800 employees and revenues of €1.192 billion.
They presently require anl Oracle Applications Technical Consultant.
Main Responsibilities:-
Active member of implementation team with responsibility for all technical aspects of a project, typically reporting directly to the project/program manager
Project management and budget control
Management of technology aspects of an Oracle implementation project
Management of large development teams
Develop other more junior developers
Interview and elicit business and functional requirements for technical developments from clients
Present to and interact with senior client representatives
Preparation of technical specifications for interfaces, workflows, customisations, data migration scripts, reports and other query tools
Development of interfaces, workflows, customisations, data migration scripts, reports and queries
Implementation of System Administration Architecture, including Printing, Concurrent Manager, Security
Management of technology aspects of an Oracle implementation project
Job demands:
Skills and Experience:-
Project management skills
Expertise in Oracle Applications
Oracle Development Tools – Reports, Forms, PLSQL, Jdeveloper, Workflow, SQL Loader
Development Skills – Html, Java, Shell Scripting.
Oracle applications database administration
Structured analysis, design and development methods
Oracle Application Server/Fusion Middleware
Unix and Windows skills
Knowledge of performance and tuning options
Knowledge of environment planning, networking, disaster recovery, resilience, archiving, backup and recovery options
