Oracle Applications Architect - Oracle ERP
Responsibilities
• Define and delivery an integrate Financial and HRMS solution, including defining the Guiding principles and high-level architectural technical vision for the overall implementation.
• Deliver the integration of Financial and HRMS solutions and consult and advises on Oracle Applications (Financials, HRMS and Supply Chain) capabilities and best practices.
• Act as overall technical and business liaison with the project teams and development groups at a design level and provide functional and technical leadership across the project team and support programme manager in the implementation of the project’s goals objectives and vision.
• Lead and drive fundamental transformation of core business processes across the client’s business to align with the best practices operational behaviour of the Oracle Applications (Financials, HRMS and Procurement) and client’s requirements.
• Manage peer-level client relationships (expectations, communications, escalation, feedback, etc.). Develops relationships with key client stakeholders and client executives.
Structures and manages Financial or HRMS tracks of work to ensure maximum performance.
• Assist in the development and tracking of integrated project plans. Adapts and applies the Sapient Approach and other Oracle implementation methodologies to meet project and objectives and client business drivers.
• Assess and manages risk within, and across, multiple Financial or HRMS tracks. Oversees the development of track deliverables. Ensure adoption of project quality and performance standards
• Work closely with the Programme Manager and key client sponsor(s) in development and execution of overall implementation approach and strategy. Establish project implementation guidelines as required
Experience Guidelines
Should have proven success implementing the Oracle Applications, gained in a Technical Architect role with strong functional business understanding.
Experience in designing complex system architectures, comprising multiple
components across heterogeneous server and network infrastructures, would be an advantage.
Should be able to demonstrate experience in two or more of the following areas of Oracle;
• Applications design
• Architectural design
• Capacity planning
• Performance considerations within the Oracle Applications
• Security
• High Availability design
• Disaster Recovery
• Integration with other systems
• Performance assurance testing
• Experience of three or more of the following Oracle products would be required:
Oracle Applications Release 11.05.08, 11.05.10 (Mandatory)
Oracle Database 9i/10g
Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC)
Oracle Application Server 9i/10g (Discoverer, Single Signon, Internet
Directory, Portal)
Oracle DataGuard
Oracle Discoverer
Oracle Workflow
