Our client’s Public Sector has an opening for a Perform ETL tasks as part of ETL Business operations for data dissemination, suggest and implement improvements in ETL Business process. Data analysis, creation and management of metadata. Develop and maintain PL/SQL, Perl, and shell scripts in support of current ETL processes. Support Design, Develop and Implement Extract, Transformation and Load (ETL) processes of US Census Data into an Oracle RDBMS. Design and maintenance of the Census metadata models and tables Document implemented ETL processes for knowledge sharing and hand-off. Candidate should be a fast learner, able to diagnose technical challenges through reading code and supporting technical documentation. Candidate should be a team player, able to work with analysts, developers and DBAs.
Experience working with Base SAS v8 & Oracle 10g. Experience with developing data processing/conversion programs utilizing Base SAS software. Experience with developing Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures & anonymous blocks for data conversion purposes. Experience with configuration management practices & procedures. Oracle client 10g, Rational ClearQuest, Quest Software TOAD, Exceed or View.
CANDIDATE MUST HAVE
