Position Scope/Summary
Accellent provides design and outsourced manufacturing, assembly, and supply chain management to the medical device industry. With approximately 25 locations, the company employs 4000 people. Information Services provides a full range of technology projects and services.
Under the supervision of the Director of the Oracle Competency Center, this role implements and supports the deployed functional modules of the Oracle 11i E-Business Suite across the company. As one of the senior functional members of the Oracle Competency Center you will be in a position to be the driving force behind utilization of the application to implement industry standard best practices to critical business processes.
Key Result Accountabilities
Provide support for configuration and application of multiple functional modules.
Develop training material and application documentation as required.
Identify and test application patches prior to promotion to production.
Responsible for assisting with the Sarbanes-Oxley efforts directly related to the Oracle E-Business Suite.
Working with Oracle Technical Support on TAR resolution.
Environmental Working Conditions
Ability to travel globally on a limited basis..
Ability to analyze, understand and effectively communicate functional material to end user and upper management.
Ability to work in a demanding user environment.
Qualifications
Implementation experience and detailed understanding of 4 or more of the following Oracle Applications modules in Release 11i: General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Costing, Work In Process (WIP), Inventory, Order Management ( OM), Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Planning..
5+years experience with Oracle ERP, at least 3+ years experience with Oracle 11i E-Business Suite in a diverse Manufacturing environment.
Minimum four years college or equivalent experience.
Working knowledge of Oracle configurations / setups for 11i E-Business Suite: functional module setups, profile options, flex-fields, functional module interfaces.
Working knowledge of Financial Statement Generator (FSG), Application Desktop Integrator (ADI). SQL+.
Understanding of business requirements:
Define future business processes around Oracle Manufacturing modules
Create detail written specifications and requirements
Educate business users
Provide guidance in data preparation and migration
Set up application modules
Support acceptance testing
Operate within tight schedules
