We are currently seeking Senior Associates to join us in our Los Angeles or Orange County office.
IT Advisory Services (ITA) professionals assess, design, and combine leading information management and operational processes, approaches, technologies, and controls to help enable sustained business value and risk management in support of the business. Information Technology (IT) organizations and their leaders often need a business focus that helps enable them to better organize and prioritize their IT investments based on factors including business value created, return on investments, and management of risk.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in ORACLE projects identifying effective controls related to IT operations, business processes, security, and data integrity for ORACLE applications
• Review and map ORACLE business processes to understand the process in manual and system controls
• Review ORACLE configuration settings to determine if system controls are being used appropriately
• Review ORACLE application security profiles to assess application security and perform segregation of duties testing on application security profiles
• Assess data conversion and system interface controls for ORACLE system implementations and system controls related to financial and internal audit reviews
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
• Five years of business experience and two years of large scale Oracle implementation experience utilizing AIM, Fast Forward or a derived methodology in a full implementation project
• Detailed understanding of eBusiness ERP concepts and general module functionality for financial accounting and reporting, inventory management, sales processing, purchasing and/or HR, with knowledge of key integration points
• Completion of one successful implementation
• Ability to clearly describe the end-to-end business process and the key integration points within Oracle
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across different business processes/business units within an organization and knowledge of the challenges faced by implementation teams
• Ability to describe key tasks in the methodology phases and activities involved in CRP’s for Unit Test, Integrated Test, Production Test and Go-Live
• Ability to explain business controls and present specific examples of key configuration items
