An opportunity has arisen for an Oracle e-Business Suite Analyst based in our Amsterdam or Swindon offices, reporting to the Oracle Applications Manager EMEA.
Principles Accountabilities:
Working closely with Operations and Finance departments in Amsterdam and Swindon and leveraging support from IT departments in Swindon and Santa Cruz, the Oracle e-Business Suite Analyst will:
Analyse the business requirements and provide direction and assistance to the business, to ensure that we are making best use of the Oracle system.
Implement required business processes by means of standard Oracle functionality or customised extensions to Oracle as required. This includes:
o Re-defining or adding new set-ups for the relevant modules
o Clearly specifying any new features required which is not part of the Oracle standard functionality.
o Appropriately schedule required development efforts and monitor progress.
o Create and execute test plans with the business partner.
Manage their own projects and communicate status with IT and also the business.
Manage any applications issues on a daily basis; raising and managing TARs directly with Oracle, where appropriate.
Job related experiences, skills and qualifications:
Functional expert in the area of Oracle e-Business 11i suite of applications, with experience in implementing and supporting the Oracle Supply Chain modules (Manufacturing, Master Scheduling/MRP, Engineering) or the Oracle Financial modules (GL, AP, AR and FA)
Technical experience in SQL and PL/SQL, and where possible Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports and Oracle Workflow.
Strong functional knowledge and business acumen.
Strong interpersonal skills; the individual needs to be able to develop relationships at all levels across the business.
Self motivated, with a passion for the opportunity and is able to be effective in the role immediately.
Must be fluent in English, any other languages, particularly Dutch, would be advantageous.
