This is an exciting opportunity with our client who is the market leader in providing the “last mile functionality” for Supply Chain Execution and Collaborative Supply Management that extends a company’s enterprise system (ERP) value using a long-term, cost-effective methodology. Our client has assisted more than 250 clients in automating and controlling their supply chain execution processes. They provide enterprise systems value with proven Supply Chain Execution (SCE) and Collaborative Supply Management (CSM) software solutions that allow customers to fully leverage their investment in enterprise applications while also gaining additional value by incorporating their trading partners into their supply chains. The products work within the existing enterprise system to leverage a “single version of the truth,” expanding rather than duplicating functionality to eliminate inefficiencies in the supply chain.
Responsibilities:
* Engage with Oracle-based Clients to ensure successful implementation of Oracle Applications.
* Determine Client requirements and design, develop, and implement the appropriate solutions.
* Solution implementation: requirements definition, solution design, user training, performance optimization, system test, and go-live support.
* Development of enhancements for Oracle solutions.
* Status reporting to Client.
* Identification of additional business opportunities.
* Lead Client toward industry best practices and efficient usage of our client’s and Oracle Applications.
* Scope management.
* This position reports directly to a Project Manager.
Requirements:
* Position is 50% technical, 50% functional.
* Solid understanding of Oracle Application interfaces.
* PL-SQL coding experience, J2EE experience a plus.
* Significant experience in Oracle Applications Order Management and Manufacturing modules, especially version 11i.
* Experience with Oracle WMS and/or Oracle MSCA is required.
* BS or BA (preferably in Computer Science, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or Business).
* Proven ability to deliver add-on sales during an engagement.
* Practical experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment a plus.
* Must have good interpersonal/relationship management skills.
* Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication ability.
* Position requires extensive travel and working at the client location.
* Position is based in Austin, Texas.
