Senior Oracle eBusiness Suite / Apps DBA New! My client is a dynamic & rapidly growing Oracle eBusiness Suite Consultancy that specialise in the implementation, integration, upgrade & ongoing support of the eBusiness Suite for a wide range of Blue Chip clients across the UK. As experts in the field of Oracle consultancy, they pride themselves in the quality of their consulting and people. To be a successful candidate you must have a minimum of 3-5 years experience as a DBA in an Oracle eBusiness Suite/Apps environment & preferably within a consultancy organisation. My client embark on a wide range of exciting projects & so you will need a flexible attitude, keen mind and the ambition to deliver high quality solutions for a variety of clients. Your main responsibilities will include: Installations, upgrades, cloning, tuning, patching & maintenance. System sizing, performance monitoring, capacity management/ planning & backups of large Oracle mission critical databases. Systems administration including backups, security & maintenance. Required skills: Excellent communication skills, strong documentation & organisation skills. Methodical & accurate, strong technical background. Positive "can do" attitude. The successful candidate will get advanced Oracle DBA training at the Oracle Corporation on the latest versions of Oracle technology as new technologies are released.
