My client is an international information technology services company, whose business is turning client vision into results through the application of consulting, systems integration and managed operations. The Company is the Worldwide Information Technology Partner for the Olympic Games through to the London Olympic Games in 2012, with annual revenues of €5.5 billion and over 47,000 people in 40 countries. .
They presently require an exceptional Oracle Applications DBA Consultant.
Main Responsibilities:-
Active member of implementation team with responsibility for all technical aspects of a project
Agreement and documentation of client technical architecture requirements
Installation and patching of Oracle applications environments
Performance tuning of Oracle applications environments
Production scaling of Oracle applications environments
Preparation of technical specifications for interfaces, customisations, data loaders, reports
Configuration management of applications environments
Project environment planning in line with the requirements of each assignment
Management of all technology aspects of an Oracle implementation project
Job demands:
Skills and Experience:-
Technically expertise in in Oracle Applications
Oracle Certified Professional DBA
Oracle database administration in Oracle 7 8, 8i, 9i, 10g including upgrades and installs.
Oracle Applications DBA skills in versions 10.7 (Char, SC, NCA), 11, 11i including upgrades and installs.
Oracle 10gAS, 9iAS and Fusion Middleware experience.
Structured analysis, design and development methods.
Development of technical architectures (networks, security components, servers etc) to support projects and production systems.
