To provide Expertise, Architectural Guidance and Delivery of Oracle Applications
To ensure that there are processes, procedures and instrumentation in place to provide the Highest Availability for Managed Oracle Application Services including the Discoverer and HRMS services.
Key responsibilities:
To undergo tools evaluation and selection exercise against the Oracle Applications requirements and implement the best fit solution.
To continually develop and maintain Oracle Applications global build standards based on industry wide best practice policies.
To ensure that Oracle Applications are implemented with due reference to the internal technical implementation standards.
To design, develop and test a best fit Discoverer and eBusiness Suite Security solution that satisfies the financial and business intelligence reporting requirements and also Internal HR/Finance Processes.
To Provide support for all of the Production, DR and UAT database Services and Environments as part of the 1st and 3rd Tier Support Strategies.
Integrate into the Database Services Team Support coverage pattern providing DBA assistance for critical market events, problems and projects (including some out of hours work).
To provide of Database Performance Tuning Expertise for as part of an overall Database Service Improvements initiative.
