| Job description: |
i. Oracle Applications 11i lifecycle support
ii. Knowledge with 11.5.10.x and 9.2.0.6, 10G.
iii. Installation, Configuration, Upgrade of Oracle Applications 11i.
iv. AD utilities, patching Techniques
v. Experience working with Oracle Support, opening, managing, and resolving Oracle TARs.
vi. Applications System Administration and Troubleshooting.
vii. Debugging Concurrent Managers and requests; Define and manage database and Applications security.
viii. Knowledge and experience with Multi-Node and Multi-Tier Applications environments, Oracle RAC; Managing Standby databases and RAC databases Unix environment.
ix. Experience and in-depth understanding of Oracle backup and recovery methodologies, Strong skills in RMAN is Desired.
x. Disaster Recovery and High-Availability experience (9iRAC, 10g RAC) and Knowledge in HACMP is desirable.
xi. Experience in database performance tuning , SQL tuning.
xii. Strong PL/SQL programming background and exposure to Oracle Applications Development support (Oracle Forms, Reports, Jinitiator).
xiii. Knowledge of JDBC, Oracle Networking (Net8).
xiv. Experience with Oracle Application Server versions 9.2.0.4 (1.0.2.2) and up, with Oracle Portal, Single Sign On.
xv. Unix shell scripting.
xvi. Min 5 - 7 years of hands on implementation Oracle 11i Applications DBA, Technical architecture design, build and test experience
xvii. Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) is preferable
xviii. Knowledge and experience of Unix, J2EE, SQL
xix. Knowledge and experience of Oracle JDeveloper development environment
