Title: Oracle Apps DBA
Location: Florence, Italy
Duration: 6+ months
Essential Functions:
1. APPS DBA support for Oracle application 11i
2. Cloning & Patching of Oracle APPS and DB 3. Backup & Recovery.
3. 7/24 Production Support, troubleshooting and Performance tuning.
4. TAR Resolution for Bugs reported
5. Support Oracle Applications upgrade
Primary Skills:
1. Oracle Apps DBA with over 2 years experience in 11i Oracle Apps.
2. Worked on 24 x 7 Production Support or implementation both single node and dual node environments
3. Should have worked on Unix platforms preferably on Sun Solaris
4. Good understanding of Oracle Apps cloning methodology
5. Extensive Patch Application experience
6. Participated in at least one upgrade project
7. Oracle DBA experience of over 4 years experience
8. Worked on all kinds of Database versions
9. Worked on Databases of bigger sizes
10. Worked on Backup & Recovery issues
11. Good Performance tuning experience
12. Good knowledge on all the database related
13. Apache & Jserver trouble shooting
Other Skills:
1. Experience in Oracle RAC
2. Shell scripting
