Job Description: This is a new role for a growing organization to act as liaison between business, technical and functional users, working in Oracle financials and supporting applications, in a customer centric environment. The successful candidate must be well skilled at requirements documentation and has a deeper technical knowledge than a business analyst.
Responsibilities:
· Work with internal clients to identify requirements and specifications for new/improved business processes.
· Work with multiple business processes, understand the components of each process and identify the impact one business process can have on another.
· Teaches end-users new technology and enhancements using all appropriate communication tools as well as providing support for existing system procedures.
· Focus on troubleshooting, debugging, application maintenance and testing.
· Create implementation results documentation, test plan and test results documentation, as well as Sarbanes Oxley compliance documentation.
· Configure, test, support and enhance modules within an Oracle implementation.
Education, Experience & Training required:
· Bachelors degree(preferably in Finance, Computer Science, or related area)
· 5-7 years experience in supporting ERP systems
· Must have hands-on experience with Oracle Financial Applications.
Job Specific Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
Cross functional business and application knowledge
Must have detailed understanding and hands-on experience with Oracle Financials and supporting data architectures including GL, AP, AR and OM (Service Contracts a plus).
Ability to analyze business processes and translate business needs into requirements and solution design documents
Has the ability to work with users of all levels to identify requirements and deliver timely results.
Strong SQL experience using TOAD, Discoverer and/or similar tools.
Strong organizational, prioritization and communication skills
Thorough understanding of multi-organization and multi-currency functionality and their application in complex business situations
