An exciting opportunity for a motivated support resource person to be trained and support a variety of global Windows based applications and platforms including Documentum, eRoom, Hyperion, MS Project Server, WebLogic, Cognos, and other state-of-the art systems. Primary role is to serve as technical Administrator for previously mentioned platforms. Works on cross-functional teams to support business unit, Division, Corporate IT initiatives. Demonstrated knowledge of information technology techniques, systems development life cycle, and adherence to IS development standards. Will be proactive in participation of planning for new development projects. Will work closely with Windows and UNIX Administration teams to optimize application performance, troubleshoot infrastructure configurations and software interactions. Close coordination with UNIX Administration, Windows Administration, Project Managers and Division Architecture groups will be required. Supervision of contract resources as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is required. A minimum of 4 years (7 years preferred) of relevant experience in designing, installing, configuring, documenting, troubleshooting, analyzing and supporting Windows and/or UNIX based environments are required. Strong windows based development/support and/or infrastructure background required. **Desired: UNIX Administration, scripting experience and Oracle RDBMS experience. **Pluses: Pharmaceutical R&D industry experience, US Regulatory submission experience, 21 CFR Part 11, multiple platform experience (Windows, UNIX, etc.), RDBMS (Oracle, etc.), HTML, ASP, Content Management, eRoom, Hyperion, WebLogic, MS Project Server.
